Party on the green raises £400!
Thanks to local resident Roselyne Masselin and her team of dedicated helpers, the "Party on the Green" at the end of Berners Drive was organised for the 10th October 2010 to coincide with national day of pledging to cut CO2 emissions called the 10:10:10 campaign. Stalls were set up in Berners Drive selling items such as books, bric-a-brac and plants with all the proceeds being donated to Mandeville Primary School PTA. The PTA ran the very successful cake stall and helped push the total figure raised to about £400! Thanks to everyone who made cakes, showed their support on the day and also to Roselyne and her team for all the hard work in putting this event together to raise funds for us!
