As an Academy we manage all of our own in-year admissions and Nursery admissions whilst Herts County Council co-ordinates our Reception admissions. All admissions to Reception and Nursery start with a home visit to support each child's transition into their new school.

Reception Admissions

The application process for September 2026 (for children whose date of birth is between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022) will close on 15th January 2026.  Allocation day for primary school places is 16th April 2026. 

School tours for prospective reception parents will commence in November, please book your place to look round our school and bring your child/ren to experience our early years setting by emailing us admin@mandeville.herts.sch.uk 

Allocations are managed by Hertfordshire County Council and all important dates are detailed on their website here. 

In-Year Admissions

As an academy we co-ordinate all of our own in-year admissions.

If you would like to apply for a place at Mandeville School please contact the school on 01727 519220 or complete the in-year application form below.

Secondary Admissions

If your child is in Year 6 you need to apply for their secondary school place by Friday 31st October 2025.
